Site Assessment
Assessing existing site conditions, observing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) construction, and assuring HVAC, plumbing and electrical system operation and performance.
Successful construction projects rely on a continuous and clear understanding of the initial vision. When project plans take a detour, budgets and timelines can implode. At Dialectic, we understand the value – and significance – of thorough, comprehensive site assessments, before, during and after a project.
We have decades of experience working on a range of projects – from commercial kitchens to school campuses – reviewing mechanical, electrical and plumbing designs to ensure they meet expectations.
Pre-construction: Our teams assess sites with an eye toward avoiding change orders and rework.
During construction: We ensure trouble spots are identified early so teams can pivot before issues become costly.
Post-construction: Our engineers make sure the space works as intended, verifying installation, conducting systems testing and ensuring the space is optimized for function and comfort.

Success Story: The Capital Grille
JKRP Architects called on Dialectic to solve a plethora of unique challenges as The Capital Grille moved to a new location in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza district. The 100-year old building previously housed a retail location, requiring significant renovations. The new design featured two kitchens on different levels of the building, bringing another level of complexity to the project. Consistent communication led to proactive planning and quick resolutions to deliver a world-class customer experience.
